Parking is limited in the heart of the old part of the town and you are advised to make use of one of the car parks around the town. You can see the location of car parks around the town here. When paying for parking please allow yourself enough time as there is much to see and do in the town. For a full list of parking charges and facilities please look here
Main Car Park, Hanson Drive, Fowey. PL23 1ET – suitable for cars and coaches. 269 spaces. Situated on a hill above the town about a five minute walk down to the town – a little longer up! Minibus service available, see our Public Transport page.
Readymoney Car Park, Fowey. PL23 1JD – suitable for cars, 60 spaces. Close to the beach and coastal footpath. About a ten to fifteen minute walk into town with good views of the estuary. (Free from beginning of November until mid-March).
Caffa Mill Car Park, Fowey. PL23 1DF – suitable for cars, 104 spaces. Boat launching facilities available. Adjacent to the car ferry between Fowey and Bodinnick. A fairly level five to ten minute walk along narrow streets into the town centre.
Albert Quay, Fore Street, Fowey PL23 1AQ. – short stay for cars only, maximum stay 2 hours. 17 spaces. A very busy car park and access by car is through the narrowest part of the town which is only two metres or 6’ 6” wide.
Town Quay, Fowey. PL23 1AT – winter only (1st October – 30th April) short stay for cars only, maximum stay 2 hours. 15 spaces. Access by car is through the narrowest part of the town which is only two metres or 6’ 6” wide.
Station Yard Car Park, Station Road, Fowey PL23 1DF. Suitable for cars Administered by Fowey Harbour Commissioners. Please note Cornwall Council tickets or the Phone and Pay system cannot be used in this car park. Adjacent to Caffa Mill Car Park. A fairly level five to ten minute walk along narrow streets into the town centre.
Disabled spaces. There are two centrally located outside Barclays Bank on Trafalgar Square, PL23 1BA, one on Town Quay close to the King of Prussia, PL23 1AQ (winter only) and one on Albert Quay PL23 1AJ
Weekly Rover Tickets are available for all Cornwall Council owned long stay car parks (including the Main, Readymoney & Caffa Mill car parks in Fowey). These tickets are available online ONLY at Cornwall council's website. Click here for more information.

A small riverside village with narrow roads, parking is limited, be cautious if parking by the riverside as the road is liable to flooding at high tide. There are 29 pay and display spaces if you drive down through the village at Golant Halt. PL23 1LL
Like Fowey, Polruan has limited parking in its steep, narrow streets. There are a few spaces on the Quay, PL23 1PA, you can buy parking tickets from The Winklepicker nearby. Alternatively there is a large pay and display car park at the top of the village, you can buy a weekly pass for this. If you wish to pay using notes please use one of the envelopes provided and post in the honesty box, including your registration details. The pass will be left under your windscreen wiper
Largely residential with good access and some street parking, it has the following car parks:
Hamley’s Corner Car Park, Par. PL24 2AH. Suitable for cars, free unlimited parking, approximately 30 spaces
Par Beach Car Park, Polmear, PL24 2AR. Suitable for cars, daily rate payable between 1st April and 30th October, free at all other times, 300+ spaces.
Par Sports Centre Car Park, Eastcliffe Rd, Par. PL24 2AJ. Suitable for cars, free unlimited parking, approximately 30 spaces
Access to Polkerris is down a steep, single track lane, the beach is increasingly popular and there is often congestion in the summer months.
Polkerris Car Park, Polkerris PL24 2TL. Suitable for cars, pay and display, approximately 120 spaces. Situated half way down the hill into Polkerris, it is a five minute walk down to the village and beach. During the summer this car park fills up very quickly, please observe signs at the top of the hill, and continue to overflow car park if necessary
Polkerris Overflow Car Par, Menabilly PL24 2TN. Suitable for cars, field parking daily charge payable. 200+ spaces. Continue towards Menabilly without turning down to Polkerris if ‘use overflow car park’ signs are out. Car park is on the right.
Suitable for cars, daily rate, approximately 50 spaces. Drive to the end of the Menabilly road, this small field car park is on the right hand side. It is a further half mile walk down a footpath to Polridmouth Beach and the coast path
There is plentiful free car parking in Lostwithiel, with car parks on Quay Street – PL22 0BS, and at the Community Centre – PL22 0HE, as well as street parking.
There is a small free car park at the centre of the village next to the river – PL22 0PT and some along the riverbank – please be cautious as the road is liable to flooding at high tide

There is a limited free car park on your right as you follow the road off the Bodinnick Ferry and away from the village (6 spaces), we do not recommend parking in the village itself as the road is steep and narrow. The nearest alternative car park is the Caffa Mill Car Park on the Fowey side.
