Neptune Apartment

About

If you are looking for a self catering holiday where you can escape the rat race and stay in the depths of the beautiful Cornish countryside without spending a fortune, then this apartment is for you!

Neptune is a small but comfortable, wheelchair friendly, studio apartment set far from the madding crowd in a beautiful and peaceful wooded valley on a working farm between Looe, Polperro and Fowey.

The open-plan studio apartment includes comfortable double/twin zip & link beds and a newly refurbished shower room. You can relax in the really comfortable armchairs and watch the flat screen television or wander through the French doors onto your private patio overlooking the garden. Whilst the kitchenette area is equipped with a microwave oven, fridge and hotplates to prepare simple meals at the end of a day exploring the stunning coastline and quaint Conrish fishing villages nearby. For those out of season breaks or nippy evenings, the underfloor heating will keep you warm and cosy.

Wheelchair Friendly

The apartment is especially suitable for disabled guests as it is all on one level and has a large wet room with walk in shower and raised toilet and has ample space for a wheelchair to be manoeuvred easily. The shower room also has 2 basins at different heights, lever taps, an alarm, and various handrails.

Dogs welcome - a small additional charge is payable

Bounded on one side by a tributary of the River Fowey which meanders along the wilder edge of our garden and then down through the woods and on to the sea. Lesquite is a haven of peace, "a little bit of heaven on earth".

Lesquite, pronounced Less-quite and meaning "home at the end of a wood", nestles at the end of our farm drive in the midst of beautiful Cornish countryside, and is an organic working farm. The gardens are informal with lots of bulbs, trees and roses. We have tried to make it wildlife friendly, and you can see butterflies and moths and imagine badgers, foxes and otters peeping through the undergrowth. Buzzards, barn owls and tawny owls live here, and moorhens and mallard hatch their eggs near the pond. Having planted over a thousand crocus bulbs, we really look forward to the spectacular Spring colour.

We are within easy reach of Fowey, Polperro, Looe, St Austell, and the historic cities of Plymouth, and Truro. The famous Eden Project is just 35 minutes away and The Lost Gardens of Heligan 45 minutes. Walking in the area is spectacular with dramatic walks on the South West Coastal Footpath or across the beautiful Cornish countryside
