Colwith Farm Distillery is Cornwall’s first ‘plough to bottle’ gin and vodka distillery.

Come and see how we transform the potatoes grown on our fifth generation family farm into award winning vodka and gin - then sample the produce straight from the source. Or better still, have a go at making your own!

Whereas most craft distilleries buy-in mass produced ethanol, at Colwith Farm Distillery, everything is delicately produced from scratch on one single estate. Even the water used in the production process rises from an aquifer situated beneath the distillery. It is much more challenging, time consuming and costly to produce spirits this way - but we truly believe it's worth it. 

Guided Distillery Tours and Tutored Tastings (1.5 hrs)

Tour our working distillery and learn step by step how we turn our amazing potatoes into award winning spirits.

After your welcome Cornish Dry gin and tonic, you will learn how we prepare the mash, distil, rectify gin, and hand bottle our spirits. You can taste/smell/touch our potato wine, low wines, amazing Cornish base spirit and botanicals. We will show you what makes us unique to 99% of distilleries throughout the world, and took 8 years of research to achieve.

Then you will enjoy a tutored tasting in our up-cycled bar. We will take you on a journey through 4 x vodkas (one of which won Double Gold in Best Vodka in the World 2020 and 2021) and 4 x gins.

Gin Schools (2hrs)

Learn to make and bottle your own, bespoke gin to take home and share with friends!

After your welcome Cornish Dry G&T, you will enjoy an introduction into our wonderful world of botanicals, flavour profiles and gin rectification.  Next you will take control of your own copper alembic pot still (just like ours - only smaller!) to distil your perfect gin.  You will be helped to blend & hand-fill your 70cl bottle of delectable Cornish gin that is distinct to any other in the world.  Finally you will celebrate with a seasonal Colwith Cocktail!

Gin Masterclasses (4 hrs) 

A wonderful combination of both the Guided Distillery Tour and Tutored Tasting, plus the Gin School!

We also have a beautiful, upcycled tasting bar overlooking the picturesque countryside and a Distillery shop where you can enjoy free samples!
