About

Family Weekend Specific

The first weekend (15-16 September) will focus on family themed and fun-packed activities including live shows, storytelling, music, crafts and a special appearance from Cbeebies Mr Maker! There’ll be a brass ensemble from Bass 12, readings and book signings by Lizzie Stewart, a uklele workshop from Sunnyside Up and pop up dance from Cscape!

The second weekend (22 – 23 September) is targeted at a more mature audience, promising a full programme of immersive and inspirational exhibitions and workshops as well as theatre and dance productions that celebrate the connection between art, science and nature.  Showcasing some of the best fringe acts, there’ll be performances from 10 Steps to Happiness and Bottled Up, music from one of Britain’s leading folk musicians, Ange Hardy and print workshops from Kiwi Print.

Family Weekend 15-16 September
The young and the young at heart will love the fun-filled Family Weekend at Eden Art’s Festival on 15-16 September. Mr Maker – as seen on CBeebies -  will be appearing live on stage in a fun family show with art and its heart, designed to encourage Mini Makers and their grown-ups to sing, dance and make some noise!  This fun family weekend promises to captivate and inspire children of all ages through singing, dancing and storytelling. Renowned children’s author Lizzy Stewart will be reading and signing books, the funky brass ensemble Bass 12 will be performing, children will get chance to learn the ukulele from Sunnyside Up and even the big kids can show off their moves with Cscape dance performances.

For a more immersive experience catered towards adults, see Eden’s Arts and Nature Weekend on the second weekend of the festival (22-23 September). Find out more about that here.
